The high that felt like the real you until it wasn't. The low that took months to climb out of. The people who only remember one of them. If you live with bipolar disorder, you know that the hardest part is often the in-between: rebuilding after an episode, and trusting yourself again.

What it is

  • A twice-monthly group for adults living with bipolar I or II.
  • A place to talk about episodes, recovery, medication routines, sleep, relationships, work, and the long game of stability.
  • Facilitated by peers who have been through the cycle and come out the other side.

What it isn't

  • Not medication advice. We share what our experience has been; your prescriber makes the calls.
  • Not a substitute for professional care.
  • Not a crisis service.

Rebuilt Minds runs free peer support groups led by trained volunteers with lived experience. We are not therapists, doctors, or a crisis service, and our groups are not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988.

Group agreements

Read aloud at the start of every session.

  1. What's said here stays here.
  2. Speak from your own experience — "I" statements, not advice.
  3. Share the air; one voice at a time.
  4. It's always OK to pass.
  5. We don't diagnose, recommend treatments, or give medical advice.
  6. If someone is in crisis, a facilitator will step into a private room with them and connect them with help.

Join the group

Zoom sends your join link. This short form tells us who is coming and gives us a baseline so we can see whether the groups are helping.

The same one you use on Zoom, so we can match you up.

Which of these do you live with? (A diagnosis is not required.)
A quick wellbeing check-in

Five questions, about a minute. We ask again at 90 days so we can see whether the groups are helping. Over the last two weeks…

1. I have felt cheerful and in good spirits
2. I have felt calm and relaxed
3. I have felt active and vigorous
4. I woke up feeling fresh and rested
5. My daily life has been filled with things that interest me
Optional: a little about you (used only for anonymous reporting)
